Secret Symbol’s on Québec TV

September 22, 2009

As I continue to read my copy of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol and as a follow up to my last post “The Real ‘Lost Symbol’”…I’ve come across something that I find very peculiar. If you or someone you know can shed some light on it, I’d appreciate your comment below.

LCN is a 24-hour French Language news channel (like CNN but for Québec) based in Montréal. I usually watch the channel before I start my day to catch up on some of the local and regional news. Karine Champagne and Jean-François Guérin are the hosts of the morning show LCN Matin, pictured below.

What I’ve noticed is that LCN as a usual part of it’s set design, uses a very ‘particular’ photograph. I noticed this before but since my visit to Washington D.C. over the summer and since my investigation into the secret symbology all over D.C. I’ve come to recognize this photograph..as the inside of the dome of the U.S. Capital building! What was the set desinger thinking using the symbol of the U.S. government as part of the set for their 24-hour news service?!

Have a look at the 2 shot below, behind (and around) Jean-François’ head, in the top right corner you can make out the detail:

Compare these images to my photograph of the inside of the U.S. Capital building dome below. Do you think they know something that we don’t…or should?

If this indeed supposed to be soe sort of “Stargate”, or “dome of illumination”, why are they using it in this way?

Looking straight up into the U.S. Capitol building dome

The Real ‘Lost Symbol’

“The Apotheosis of George Washington” looking straight up, inside the U.S. Capital Building dome.

This past summer I took my family on a 10 day 3 city tour of the U.S. East coast, one of the stops was in Washington D.C.

Aside from having family living in the city and thus having a long relationship with the District and aside from wanting to finally introduce my kids to the treasures in the various Smithsonian museums (the Air and Space is my favourite), I have been following the work of William Henry and he recently suggested a closer look at the inside of the dome of the Capital building which I was eager to do. One of the HD pictures I took while I was there is above, click it to zoom in.

William Henry is an investigative mythologist who has decoded something very interesting about the U.S. Capital building the focus of which is on the fresco, up there in the dome called “The Apotheosis of George Washington”. My tour guide brushed it off as a tongue in cheek ‘glorification’ of George Washington, but upon closer inspection it becomes obvious that it is far more than that!

“…this fresco depicts Washington as a god-man. Christian art portrays Jesus sitting on a rainbow and enthroned exactly the same way. The sun is a symbol of Christ from the prophecy of Malachi 4:2 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.”

“Tibetan artists use identical imagery to portray their high holy ones (called lamas) who have achieved “The Great Perfection” (Dzogchen). The aim of the Great Perfection is to awaken the individual to the primordial state of enlightenment, which is naturally found in all beings. The initiate’s goal is to integrate enlightenment into all his or her activities and to unite the physical body with the energy of Nature. The supreme realization of which lies in the manifestation of the “Rainbow Body” or body of light.

“This is the meaning behind the symbolism of both Jesus and George Washington sitting on the rainbow. Washington is a perfected human, not only a Grand Master, but also an ‘American Christ’, in tune with his divine nature…”

Add to that the empty tomb in the basement of the Capitol Building meant for George Washington and the implications are clear.

Now, last night I received a notification email from Amazon that the copy of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol which I pre-ordered back in August (saved 50% BTW) has been sent, I should get it by the end of the week…can’t wait. But get this, based on the information I’ve been getting about the plot it has to do with the exact same topic…secret symbols in the U.S. Capital building!

I have a feeling that this is about to get v-e-r-y interesting.

An Iceberg Didn’t Sink the Titanic

April 25, 2009

Titanic

What if I told you that an iceberg didn’t sink the Titanic? OK, you’d probably say David is off on one of his “conspiracy theory” trips again or that he finally fell off the deep end. Well, it’s true an iceberg DIDN’T sink the Titanic…the Titanic sank from the water that flooded it after the Titanic hit the iceberg!! It’s not just a matter of semantics, it’s a simple example of what a paradigm shift is.

When The Church told us that the the Sun, Planets and stars revolved around the Earth and went out of it’s way to persecute anyone who said otherwise (despite having empirical data stating the obvious), we were in desperate need of a large paradigm shift, a paradigm shift that I’m glad to report we now have successfully accomplished. Just ask anyone you know and they’ll tell you the Earth revolves around the Sun.

The Real Secret
Now, what if I told you there was an idea that we have held on to dearly that is in need of the same paradigm shifting? This idea is so big and will be so difficult to get our minds around that there will likely be the same outcry from humanity “how could this be!”.

I recently began reading a book called “The Self Aware Universe” written by Amit Goswami a physics professor at the University of Oregon. If you were one of the ten’s of millions of people who watched the movie “What the Bleep!?: Down the Rabbit Hole” you got a taste of Amit’s theory which is gathering not only momentum in the scientific community, but empirical data in the lab through the study of quantum physics. If you watched or read The Secret it’s basic idea of the laws of attraction is a great introduction to this idea of quantum physics, a good next step for you would be to watch What the Bleep!?

Putting religion aside for a minute, it has long been assumed by science that the brain creates consciousness Richard Dawkins in his book The God Delusion covers this idea ad nausium

What Does This Mean To Me
The million dollar question:  so what does all of this mean to you in your everyday life?? Nothing…if you don’t want it to.

Did the discovery that the Earth was round affect a farmer in France who had no need or desire to cross the Atlantic Ocean? Nope. But if he was looking for more land and a place he could raise his family independantly from the crushing laws and taxes of the King of France…it quite literally meant, the World!

Interview: Dolores Cannon

October 21, 2008

The Convoluted Universe

Dolores Cannon is a past-life regressionist and hypnotherapist who specializes in the recovery and cataloging of what can be called “lost knowledge”. Some of her discoveries have been controversial (Conversations with Nostradamus, Keepers of the Garden) to say the least, others simply fascinating. Her roots in hypnosis go back to the 1960s. She has been specializing in past-life therapy since 1979.

As you may already know I have been reading some of her work for quite some time now (Convoluted Universe 1, Convoluted Universe 2 and now her latest book Convoluted Universe 3) and referencing some of her amazing lost knowledge discoveries here on The Blah, Blah, Blog. Well, this past July (sorry for the delay, August and September were pretty messed up for me in case you hadn’t heard) it was my distinct honour to interview her while she was here in Montréal for a conference and to teach her hypnotherapy technique to a class full of eager student’s.

Despite being here in Montréal her schedule only permitted a telephone interview but that didn’t deter us one bit from quickly getting into concepts of consciousness, 2012 prophecy and The New Earth.

The following are the ten questions I posed to her. To hear Dolores’ response to my question click on the ‘play’ icon below each question. (ex. )

The Interview:

1. Tell me about your regression technique, how did you develop it?

2. What makes your technique special?

3.What was your original reaction when you realized what you had stumbled on?

4. How do you deal with skeptics?

5. Could you elaborate a little on this idea of “The New Earth”?

6. Will people notice any changes?

7. I’m reading a book by physics professor Amit Goswami [1][2][3] called “The Self Aware Universe” (1995) where he makes a case for the idea that in the evolutionary process consciousness came before matter…that the only “reality” is consciousness…and that matter is a by-product of consciousness itself rather than the other way around. Is this idea consistent with your research”? In Convoluted Universe 2 one of your subjects said that the afterlife experience is more real than what we (in this life) perceive as reality…

8. …when I clarified Amit Goswami’s thesis, by saying that he is scientifically proving what she’s been saying she reacted like this…

9. Based on your research what would you say is God?

10. Is God consciousness?

I believe that our modern world is based on fundamentally flawed conceptions of time and mind and that on this shaky foundation we have built a civilization which as it grows is becoming increasingly shaky (see, stock market and political news). Dolores Cannon’s work is helping to expose the need to rethink all of our grand assumptions and to establish a new paradigm.

You can order her book(s) through her website or at Amazon.com

Back From Mexico

Feet in Mexico

What a week it was! Sun, surf, sand…and unfortunately no Canadians hockey updates.

That’s a picture of my feet in a new pair of Croc’s (my shoe collection has now reached a total of 6 pairs if you were listening to Tammy and I on the morning show a week and a half ago), the Mayan Riviera in the background and if you look carefully somebody is swimming by trying to out run a shark I think.

The week would have been much quieter if I had only realized that my week off coincided with Spring Break American style. Several hundred 18-19 year olds from the US learning how to binge drink. It could have been worse, there could have actually been alcohol in the drinks! What they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them…but it was fun watching them run around thinking they were drunk…

I took a day off from loafing on the beach to get some education in Mexican history and visited Chichen Itza, the remnants of an ancient Mayan civilization about 2 hours West of where I was staying. I’ll have plenty to write about that trip alone, so I’ll save it for another post. I’ve got some great stories and even better pictures to show you. The self portrait below has the Western side of El Castillo (the famous pyramid at Chichen Itza) directly behind me.

David at Chichen Itza

And believe it or not, I actually brought along a book to read that was fiction! Yeah, Fiction!! I don’t think I’ve read fiction in about 10 years. I’m almost finished reading A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter Miller. While it is fiction it likewise falls in to the category of “classic literature”.  Written in the 1950’s, it’s a post apocalyptic tale of what life might be like if all technology and all knowledge of what came before was virtually destroyed. Then trying to piece together what had come before the deluge by only small fragments of information.

A Canticle for Leibowitz

Considering my visit to Chichen Itza the book was very appropriate.

It’s great to be back! More stories to come…
