2012: The Reality

October 2, 2009

This morning I received an email from a friend asking if I had seen the scene from the upcoming movie 2012 last night, it was on every TV channel so it was hard to miss. Here’s what I wrote to her:

Yeah, I did see it. Stayed up later than I should have just so that I COULD see it.

I’m impressed with the special effects etc., but that scene was so over the top that credibility may be (thankfully) lost. Their interpretation of what will happen in 2012, if anything happens at all, could be damaging.

As you know I’ve been going further and further down the rabbit hole in my self studies of consciousness and I’ve come to a few conclusions, one of which is that we can control things in our environment more than I originally believed.

The Secret talks about manifesting things into your life and I believe that works on a personal level. You’ve heard of prayer circles and the like where a small group of people meditate/pray for something, ie. someone’s health and they are able to effectuate change? Now, imagine just 1/10th of the planet, nearly 700-million people meditating/praying on the same thing…voluntarily or involuntarily…what are we with our collective conscious going to be able to accomplish? We could move mountains….or worse.

If enough people on the planet begin to fear the worst for 2012…they may accidentally manifest those things.

I continue to tell people that 2012 will be a time of peace, a time of realizing our connectedness to nature, of our one-ness with the living planet and to the living Universe. A Revelation! NOTE: The Greek word for Apocalypse is defined as “the act of revealing or unveiling”.

Noetic science is making huge strides in proving what I’m talking about in terms of our collective consciousness. Their investigations into things like clairvoyance, astral projection, telepathy, ESP, remote viewing, etc….is pointing to one undeniable fact…we are all connected to one another on the spiritual plane.

We are all one. A part of a collective whole…and as such we wield great power. But that power could be compared to a child playing with a loaded gun, we just don’t realize that we’re loaded. (so to speak)

If we’re not careful we may get what we wish for. Or (if you think like me) if we’re lucky we’ll get what we wish for… :0)

Paradigm Shift

April 2, 2009

We live in a world of paradigms, economic paradigms, political paradigms, social, paradigms, sexual paradigms and more too numerous to mention. I believe we are on the cusp of experienceing a paradigm shift of such maginitude that possibly everything we believe to be true will be brought into question by a new paradigm.

par·a·digm – (pār’ə-dīm’, -dĭm’)

A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.

No, I’m not about to start roaming the streets of Montreal with a sign reading “the end is near” over my shoulders…it’s not that the end is near but I think a new beginning is about to arrive.

That said I’d like you to watch this movie. It’s not really well done and I apologize in advance, but, try to get past the roughness and listen to the message of this. The sooner we realize a new paradigmn is iminent the sooner we can accept it.

John Lennon wrote all about it in his song Imagine…no borders, no religion, etc.

McCain vs. Palin: 2012

After a quick ride to the future in my time machine I found this:

Interview: Dolores Cannon

October 21, 2008

The Convoluted Universe

Dolores Cannon is a past-life regressionist and hypnotherapist who specializes in the recovery and cataloging of what can be called “lost knowledge”. Some of her discoveries have been controversial (Conversations with Nostradamus, Keepers of the Garden) to say the least, others simply fascinating. Her roots in hypnosis go back to the 1960s. She has been specializing in past-life therapy since 1979.

As you may already know I have been reading some of her work for quite some time now (Convoluted Universe 1, Convoluted Universe 2 and now her latest book Convoluted Universe 3) and referencing some of her amazing lost knowledge discoveries here on The Blah, Blah, Blog. Well, this past July (sorry for the delay, August and September were pretty messed up for me in case you hadn’t heard) it was my distinct honour to interview her while she was here in Montréal for a conference and to teach her hypnotherapy technique to a class full of eager student’s.

Despite being here in Montréal her schedule only permitted a telephone interview but that didn’t deter us one bit from quickly getting into concepts of consciousness, 2012 prophecy and The New Earth.

The following are the ten questions I posed to her. To hear Dolores’ response to my question click on the ‘play’ icon below each question. (ex. )

The Interview:

1. Tell me about your regression technique, how did you develop it?

2. What makes your technique special?

3.What was your original reaction when you realized what you had stumbled on?

4. How do you deal with skeptics?

5. Could you elaborate a little on this idea of “The New Earth”?

6. Will people notice any changes?

7. I’m reading a book by physics professor Amit Goswami [1][2][3] called “The Self Aware Universe” (1995) where he makes a case for the idea that in the evolutionary process consciousness came before matter…that the only “reality” is consciousness…and that matter is a by-product of consciousness itself rather than the other way around. Is this idea consistent with your research”? In Convoluted Universe 2 one of your subjects said that the afterlife experience is more real than what we (in this life) perceive as reality…

8. …when I clarified Amit Goswami’s thesis, by saying that he is scientifically proving what she’s been saying she reacted like this…

9. Based on your research what would you say is God?

10. Is God consciousness?

I believe that our modern world is based on fundamentally flawed conceptions of time and mind and that on this shaky foundation we have built a civilization which as it grows is becoming increasingly shaky (see, stock market and political news). Dolores Cannon’s work is helping to expose the need to rethink all of our grand assumptions and to establish a new paradigm.

Chichen Itza, Mexico

April 2, 2008

David Tyler at Chichen Itza

Visiting Chichen Itza while in Mexico was a pilgrimage of sorts for me. I have read so much about the Mayans of late that I thought it only appropriate that I take the time out to have a look at this ancient Mayan sacred site. What I learned and saw with my own eyes was quite profound.

I decided that the only way to truly capture the vastness of the buildings was to use a panorama technique involving multiple exposures and the Photomerge feature in Photoshop. While I’m no expert in the technique (a keen eye will catch the imperfections) I think you’ll get the ‘picture’ so to speak. Click on any of the 4 thumbnails below to get the full effect.

Walking past the Mayaland Hotel, a beautiful hotel built in the Colonial Mexican style, you find the entrance to Chichen Itza, I shuffled over to pay an extra $3.50 for a permit to bring my video camera onto the site (it’s free to bring your camera) and then rejoined the line. The walk up through the woods was refreshing considering the 2 + hours we had just spent aboard our bus but after catching my first glimpse of the pyramid through the trees I was transfixed. I stepped out into the scorching midday Mexican sun and found an appropriate place to pause on the open grass to take in this giant of a building (click the picture below).

  Pyramid, Chichen Itza

It’s down the side of this pyramid that on the solstice you can watch for about 15 minutes as Kukulcan the feathered serpent, slides down it’s North side. Unfortunately, I had missed the event by a few days. Click on the animation below (AVI, 943kb) to see what it looks like.

Next it was on to the Great Ball court (click picture below), where the object of the “game” is to get the ball through those tiny stone hoops on either side of the giant field. The winner gets to have his head cut off…nice. I put the word ‘game’ in quotation marks because it wasn’t really a game but a renactment of the legendary Mayan ‘Creation’ scenario.

Then it was over the Sacred Cenote (click picture below), where ‘pure’ Men and Women were sacrificed to it’s murky depths occasionally, typically they would through objects, semi-precious stones, some gold and clay objects in the hopes of appeasing the rain god.

Considering my interest in astronomy my next stop was to what they call ‘The Observatory’ (click picture below) because of it’s likeness to a modern observatory with a giant telescope. Obviously there was no telescope in this observatory but scientists quickly discovered that this building once again was used to predict celestial events.

The Observatory, Chichen Itza

The Mayan’s deep interest in astronomy and calendars helped them to establish a cycle for sowing crops and other activities which were important to the economic and social life of the city. Not to be mistaken for a city as we know it this was indeed a sacred  site, the genereal population lived outside of the area. The few people who did live in the city were priests and nobles.

If you analyze the accuracy of the astronomical predictions they made in the time of this city, which was between 900 and 1200 AD… we have to consider the next great event predicted to arrive on December 23, 2012. What will happen on that date? That’s open for great discussion and great fodder for another blog at another time. Modern scientists know that on that date there will be an alignment of the Earth with the Sun, Jupiter and the center of our Milkyway Galaxy. As the Mayans predict it will not be ‘the end’ but the start of something wonderful. Time will tell!
