Einstein and the other great scientist’s of our time have spent their careers searching for this one unifying theory of the world/Universe that we live in, something that sums up our very existance. Indeed, the work they are preparing to do at C.E.R.N. could very well lead to the discovery of what they’re calling “The God Particle” or the substance that makes everything what it is. See M-Theory for a deeper understanding.
As a self described “Amateur Theosopher”, I believe I have been able to take my understanding of science and my study of religion, albeit mostly an Abrahamic point of view and come up with ‘it’. In no way is my theory a compromise between science and religion, rather a spotlight on science and religions commonalities which are far greater than most realize. In a terribly un-scientific way it goes like this:
1. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration,
2. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively,
3. There is no such thing as death,
4. Life is only a dream, and
5. We are the imagination of ourselves.
* T.O.E. stands for “Theory of Everything”…

- The Large Hadron Collider at C.E.R.N. (LHC)
The news has been coming fast and furious from C.E.R.N. via their newsletter about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It officially started last Wednesday (September 10, 2008) and it looks like all of those scientists who said turning on the LHC would set off a chain reaction of events that would end with the Earth being swallowed up by a huge black hole were wrong (thankfully)! Check out this livecam view.
OK, ok here’ the real view: Camera 8 and Camera 9
If you missed the fantastic article in the Montreal Gazette in July you can get up to speed on all of this by reading it here. Or if you find that too dry watch this YouTube.com video:
As they get set to bring the LHC up to full speed news from this continent, Chicago specifically and Fermilab to be exact, that they are searching for extra-dimensional visitors.
The detection of extra dimensions beyond the familiar four—the three dimensions of space and one of time—would be among the most earth-shattering discoveries in the history of physics. Now scientists at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Ill., are designing a new experiment that would investigate tantalizing hints that extra dimensions may indeed exist.
It certainly looks like we’re knocking on the door of The Twilight Zone (and NOT to deliver a flaming bag of poo)…things are about to get very interesting.
BTW, If you’re a fan of the TV show Lost you may notice something familiar about the above picture of the LHC at C.E.R.N. and the logo for the Dharma Initiative.

David Tylers Back (and trying to get an iPhone endorsement deal it seems)
Well, it certainly has been busy since my last blog just over a week ago and I wanted to take a paragraph to thank everybody who sent emails of encouragement, who called Q92 wondering where I went and to those who added their comments to this blog and the Fagstein blog too…Steve, it seems that people do ‘mourn David Tyler’! …but I’m not gone, far from it…I’ve just been busy and from the looks of that picture (above) I should probably take some time out for a hair cut this week. By the way, how do you like my Doug Camilli imitation? You certainly can’t do that kind of entertaining on the radio!
Besides taking care of the business, I’ve been working on my latest YouTube.com video a behind the scenes look at the making of a TV commercial (from the voice guys perspective of course) which I should have here later this week.
Plus, I’ve been keeping a keen eye on C.E.R.N. for the last few weeks, some very interesting things going on over there in Geneva as they’ve been testing the largest particle smasher the world has ever seen, it’s 27 km around. If you’re a regular reader of the Blah, Blah, Blog you already know about my fascination with it and it’s implications for major scientific discoveries including proof of the existence of other yet unseen dimensions, not to mention the so-called ‘God Particle‘. I’m working on a blog about it for tomorrow morning.
All that to say there’s more to come so don’t go far! Bookmark this blog so you won’t lose your way back.
